What you will do
- Own creator acquisition and audience growth across Reddit, TikTok, Instagram, X and partnerships within each platform’s rules.
- Design and run funnel experiments, documenting hypotheses, budgets, baselines and outcomes without promising results.
- Manage content calendars and non-explicit creative briefs with editors and creator approval.
- Set and monitor traffic, free-to-paid conversion, subscriber acquisition cost, retention and average revenue per user.
- Build growth playbooks and train backend managers on their use; work with chatting team leads on conversion and audience feedback.
- Research competitors using public information and report progress, uncertainty and next actions weekly to the founders.
Who you are
- 2+ years running paid or organic growth for creators, brands or an agency; creator-economy or OFM experience preferred, not required
- English C1 required; German nice to have
- Analytical, writes clear English, ships experiments weekly and takes ownership of results and mistakes.
- Comfortable with the adult-industry context; you never appear on camera for creators or subscribers.
- Able to commit fully to this role for the long term, with a realistic transition from any current employment.

How this role differs from backend manager and chat agent
The marketing manager owns acquisition strategy and the experiments that bring an appropriate adult audience to a creator’s approved offer. Backend managers coordinate account operations, revenue workflows and team execution. Chatting team leads coach subscriber conversations and handovers. The marketer works across those teams to understand the entire funnel, while keeping each person’s decisions and metrics clear.
A large view count with poor paid conversion is an investigation prompt. You might inspect traffic quality, an offer mismatch, a measurement error or the time subscribers need before purchasing. Share the evidence with the backend and chatting leads, decide who owns each check and document the result. Do not assign blame from one dashboard or promise a creator a particular revenue outcome.
A practical way to approach the first month
Start by understanding creator-approved boundaries, existing audience research, account access and the measurement setup. Agree what counts as a qualified visit, a new free subscriber and a new paid subscriber. Audit tracking before changing a funnel. Establish a small experiment backlog with an owner, a baseline, a primary metric and a condition for stopping each test.
Use the editor’s real capacity when planning a content calendar. Creative briefs need a hook, format, permitted call to action, asset permissions and a review step. Weekly founder reports should explain what changed, what remains uncertain and which action you own next. These are examples of sound working practice, rather than a guarantee of results or a fixed onboarding timetable.
