Hiring guide

OnlyFans chatter interview: the questions, the chat test and how to pass

Every OnlyFans agency hires a little differently, but the strong ones test the same things: can you write naturally in English, can you read people, and can you sell without sounding like a bot. This is exactly how our hiring works at Bunny, with the questions and what we grade on — so you can prepare properly.

The hiring process, step by step

  1. Application form — about 10 minutes, voice dictation available.
  2. English test and typing test — you upload your results.
  3. Assessment — an emotional-intelligence test and a written chat simulation.
  4. AI review — your assessment is scored automatically, so nobody sits on it for a week.
  5. 5-minute AI voice interview — in English, or German, Spanish, French or Hungarian.
  6. Free training at Bunny Academy, ending with a final chat test.
  7. Contract — signed online, then your first shift.

No step costs you anything. If you are ready to start, the OnlyFans chat agent job page has the apply button.

The application questions

The form asks about four things:

  • About you: name, date of birth (18+ only), country and contact details.
  • English and typing: your English level and a typing-speed screenshot.
  • Experience: whether you have chatted before, what your strategy was and what you made per shift. No experience is fine; say so honestly.
  • Logistics and motivation: how many days and hours you can work, why we should hire you over someone else, and a 60-second voice note about yourself.

Tip: the voice note is where most candidates lose us. Do not read a script. Say who you are, why this job, and one specific example of you persuading someone or handling a difficult customer.

The English test

Thirty questions on grammar, vocabulary, reading and — the part most people underestimate — real informal English: slang, idioms and internet-speak. Fans do not write like textbooks. Harder questions count for more. You need roughly B1 or above.

The emotional-intelligence test

A situational-judgement test: realistic scenarios with fans, teammates, feedback, pressure and boundaries, and you pick the best response. There are no trick questions. The best answers are usually calm, take ownership and keep the relationship intact while still getting the job done.

The chat test (simulation)

You chat with a simulated fan, writing as the creator. The fan behaves like a real subscriber: some warm up quickly, some test you, some stall or say no to an offer. There is also a short 5-message written exercise in the application itself.

A strong reply to a fan who opens with "hey cutie, long day 😩" looks like this:

aww nooo 😩 what happened? tell me everything, I'm all yours for a bit

A weak one looks like this:

Hi! Sorry to hear that. I have a new video for $15, want it?

The second reply pitches before there is any connection and sounds like customer service. The first one matches the fan's energy and opens a conversation you can sell into later. See more examples in our chatter scripts.

What graders look for

Chat tests are scored on a green / yellow / red rubric. The things that move your score most:

  • You lead the conversation. You move it forward with questions and hooks instead of waiting for the fan to ask for something.
  • You offer at the right time. Not in the first message — but not never either. Within the first part of a session you should make a natural offer.
  • You read the temperature. A cold fan needs rapport first; a fan who is already hot does not need ten questions about his day.
  • You handle "no" well. A decline is information. Stay warm, find out why, and keep the door open.
  • You stay in voice.Short messages, natural punctuation, the creator's personality — not yours, and not a corporate one.

The interview questions

The AI voice interview is about 5 minutes. It is conversational, not a quiz, and covers these areas:

  • Motivation: "Why this job, and why now?" Generic answers get a follow-up.
  • Comfort with the industry: how you would respond when a subscriber sends something explicit. We want calm and practical, not shocked or preachy.
  • A short roleplay: the interviewer plays a fan and you answer as the creator, then the fan changes mood and you adapt.
  • Pressure: how you would react if a creator or team lead criticized you for a missed sale.
  • Logistics: time zone, hours, internet and when you could start.

Prepare by saying your answers out loud once. Keep your camera and microphone on, sit somewhere quiet, and be yourself — the interviewer is checking how you communicate, not whether you memorized the right words.

Training and the final test

Pass the interview and you start free training at Bunny Academy: platform basics, persona writing, PPV strategy, objection handling and practice chats with AI fans. It ends with a final chat test. The full curriculum is on our chatter training page.

Why candidates fail

  • AI-written answers. Polished, long and lifeless. We see it immediately.
  • Pitching in the first message. It is the most common chat-test mistake.
  • Never pitching at all. Friendly chat with no sale is the second most common.
  • Moralizing. If explicit messages bother you, this is not the job for you, and that is fine.
  • Ghosting. Missing steps or going silent for days. Reliability is part of the test.

Chatter interview FAQ

What questions are asked in an OnlyFans chatter interview?

Expect five themes: why you want the job, whether you are comfortable with explicit messages, a short roleplay where you reply as the creator, how you handle pressure or criticism, and logistics like time zone, hours and internet. Answers should be specific, not generic.

Is there a test to become an OnlyFans chatter?

At most serious agencies, yes. At Bunny there is an English test, an emotional-intelligence test and a written chat simulation, all done online. They are free and take about an hour in total.

Can I use ChatGPT for the application or chat test?

No. We ask you to confirm your answers are your own, and AI-written replies are easy to spot: too long, too polished and not in a human voice. The job is writing like a person, so that is what we test.

What English level do I need?

B1 or higher. Subscribers write casually, with slang, typos and emojis, so we care more about natural informal English than perfect grammar.

How long does the interview take?

The AI voice interview takes about 5 minutes and runs in your browser. Have your camera and microphone working and find a quiet place.

What if the AI interview does not work for me?

If the call drops or the tech fails, you can retry, and a human interviewer is offered as a fallback.

Do I need chatting experience to pass?

No. Experience helps, but the tests are designed so a beginner with good instincts can pass. Read our scripts and skills pages before you start.
