Why apply from Barcelona
Switching between Catalan, Spanish and other languages can encourage attention to tone and audience. The application needs you to demonstrate that attention in your own English. Explain how you would clarify an ambiguous request rather than translating it mechanically. Experience responding to visitors or written enquiries can offer examples, but the hiring team is evaluating your communication and judgement rather than assuming a particular background from your location.
Check what language support actually means
Spanish is on the published interview list; Catalan is not currently listed. Choosing a supported spoken interview language can help you describe your experience accurately, but subscriber-facing writing is assessed separately. Do not confuse a multilingual city guide with a promise of assignments in every local language. If you are uncertain about the interview format, ask within the application process before preparing material in an unsupported language.
Protect a workstation when housing is shared
A Barcelona applicant renting a room should consider whether the desk remains available during all proposed hours and whether the landlord or flatmates need access. Discuss interruptions and screen visibility rather than assuming headphones provide privacy. Test the computer and connection from that exact spot. If your housing arrangement may change soon, make a realistic plan before committing to a recurring schedule that depends on a particular room.
Barcelona: Application questions
Is Catalan available for a Barcelona interview?
It is not in the published list. Spanish and the other listed languages are supported, while the role’s English writing requirement is checked independently.
Does Barcelona have different clock rules from Madrid here?
The model uses Europe/Madrid for Barcelona’s mainland local time. Confirm the actual assigned date and reference US zone, especially around the separate seasonal clock-change weeks.
Can Barcelona tourism experience help?
It can supply an example of adapting a response and handling expectations. Explain your own action without sharing visitor information or assuming tourism work replaces the assessment.
Can I work from a Barcelona flatshare bedroom?
Check actual privacy, access and noise at the intended hours. A room can work only if it consistently meets the role’s requirements; the city page cannot verify your specific setup.
Why does the Barcelona guide link to an English version?
Both pages explain the same city and remote position. The language link helps comprehension and does not create a second vacancy or require a second application.
A shift on your local clock
East coast 18:00–01:00 → Barcelona: 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) (2027-01-15) / 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) (2027-07-15). These US audience windows are planning assumptions, not measured traffic or an account assignment. Plan uninterrupted desk time and enough rest around the confirmed shift.
Timezone: Europe/Madrid. A +1d marker means the next local calendar day relative to the reference date. January and July show seasonal examples; confirm the actual work date.
| Reference date (US) | East coast 18:00–01:00 | West coast 18:00–01:00 |
|---|---|---|
| 2027-01-15 | 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) | 03:00 (+1d)–10:00 (+1d) |
| 2027-07-15 | 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) | 03:00 (+1d)–10:00 (+1d) |
Three eight-hour coverage examples
The contract specifies shift length but no public start times. These UTC-aligned planning examples help you discuss availability; actual starts and openings are confirmed during hiring. They are not three advertised Bunny shift options.
| UTC example | 2027-01-15 local | 2027-07-15 local |
|---|---|---|
| 00:00–08:00 UTC | 01:00–09:00 | 02:00–10:00 |
| 08:00–16:00 UTC | 09:00–17:00 | 10:00–18:00 |
| 16:00–00:00 UTC | 17:00–01:00 (+1d) | 18:00–02:00 (+1d) |
Language and interview options
- Local languages
- Spanish, Catalan
- Interview languages
- English, German, Spanish, French, Hungarian

- B1+
A local language is not automatically an interview option. Written English is assessed separately.
Published role terms
- Typical monthly earnings
- $400–$1,500 USD
- Hours per shift / days per week
- 8 / 6
- Freelancer contract
- Bunny Agency LLC (USA)
Earnings depend on plan, hours and sales and are not guaranteed. There is no city-specific salary. Payment and freelance registration guidance is in the country guide.
Use the language pages without duplicating the decision. The existing Spanish pages already explain the head-term offer and the country intent in Spanish. This page serves the equivalent English search rather than introducing another competing Spanish guide. Read the actual published terms and keep interview language separate from account assignment. A supported Spanish interview does not promise that subscriber work will happen only in Spanish or that the English assessment is optional.
Check the clock for the actual place you will work. Use a city guide rather than assuming one general Spain label describes every possible working address. Confirm the reference timezone and date of an assigned shift, particularly near seasonal changes. Include the local finish, rest and any existing job or class in the weekly plan. Test the private desk and connection you intend to use rather than the equipment of a temporary host.
