Why apply from Lagos
Lagos candidates can show commercial judgement through ordinary examples: answering a customer clearly, remembering what they wanted and following up without pressure. Sales experience helps only if you can adapt it to a creator’s approved voice and boundaries. Practise natural English and concise notes rather than assuming an aggressive pitch will be the best response to every subscriber.
Plan the desk, power and backup together
A remote role removes a daily office journey, but reliable attendance still needs preparation. Test your computer, router and backup power as one setup. Find out whether the alternative internet connection actually remains usable when the main one fails. Use your own Lagos address for the test; conditions in another building cannot establish how your desk will perform.
Be precise about where the money goes
Use the approved Nigeria payment notes linked below and ask your receiving bank about your account. Do not accept an unofficial recruiter’s substitute payment arrangement or assume a local-currency screenshot proves future earnings. Compare the published USD terms with your personal costs and keep the written offer. Neither a city page nor an online calculator can promise the amount your bank ultimately credits.
Lagos: Application questions
Do Lagos applicants need a domiciliary account?
The Nigeria guide explains the published bank-transfer method and the questions to ask your bank. Confirm what your own account can receive before accepting work; this page does not approve a particular banking product.
Does Lagos follow the US seasonal clock change?
The model uses Africa/Lagos. Its offset stays the same in the two examples, while US clocks change. Compare both seasons to avoid treating one current time difference as permanent.
Can I work from a Lagos coworking hot desk?
Check continuous access, screen privacy and control of the connection before relying on it. A shared desk that closes during your shift or exposes subscriber messages may not meet the working requirements.
Is Nigerian Pidgin an interview language in Lagos?
It is not on the published interview list. Use the supported-language panel to choose an available option and prepare clear written English for the role assessment.
Should a Lagos applicant pay for priority placement?
The official application and training do not carry an entry fee. Use the current pipeline status here and verify the recruiter against the official site rather than buying an alleged city hiring slot.
A shift on your local clock
East coast 18:00–01:00 → Lagos: 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) (2027-01-15) / 23:00–06:00 (+1d) (2027-07-15). These US audience windows are planning assumptions, not measured traffic or an account assignment. Plan uninterrupted desk time and enough rest around the confirmed shift.
Timezone: Africa/Lagos. A +1d marker means the next local calendar day relative to the reference date. January and July show seasonal examples; confirm the actual work date.
| Reference date (US) | East coast 18:00–01:00 | West coast 18:00–01:00 |
|---|---|---|
| 2027-01-15 | 00:00 (+1d)–07:00 (+1d) | 03:00 (+1d)–10:00 (+1d) |
| 2027-07-15 | 23:00–06:00 (+1d) | 02:00 (+1d)–09:00 (+1d) |
Three eight-hour coverage examples
The contract specifies shift length but no public start times. These UTC-aligned planning examples help you discuss availability; actual starts and openings are confirmed during hiring. They are not three advertised Bunny shift options.
| UTC example | 2027-01-15 local | 2027-07-15 local |
|---|---|---|
| 00:00–08:00 UTC | 01:00–09:00 | 01:00–09:00 |
| 08:00–16:00 UTC | 09:00–17:00 | 09:00–17:00 |
| 16:00–00:00 UTC | 17:00–01:00 (+1d) | 17:00–01:00 (+1d) |

Published role terms
- Typical monthly earnings
- $400–$1,500 USD
- Hours per shift / days per week
- 8 / 6
- Freelancer contract
- Bunny Agency LLC (USA)
Earnings depend on plan, hours and sales and are not guaranteed. There is no city-specific salary. Payment and freelance registration guidance is in the country guide.
Power and internet. Power cuts are the main risk for an 8-hour shift. Plan a backup — an inverter or generator for your laptop and router — plus a second internet option such as a mobile-data hotspot, so an outage does not end your shift.
Receiving USD. Pay is a bank transfer, and Bunny covers its own transfer fees. Ask your bank about a domiciliary (USD) account, what it charges to receive international transfers, and how withdrawals work. We do not pay through PayPal or crypto.
Taxes. You are a freelancer, not a Nigerian employee, so no tax is deducted for you. Declaring your income is your responsibility — check with a local accountant how to file freelance income from abroad.
